According to a new report, European holiday prices are set to rise by 31% as a result of Brexit, while 25,000 British jobs in the holiday-making industry are at risk. Commenting, Best for Britain champion Jo Stevens MP said:

“For all the talk of a ‘global Britain’, Brexit has been more of a holiday-breaker than a holiday-maker.

“But we’re not just talking about your flight to Spain or France going up. We’re talking about 25,000 British jobs being lost and the British outbound tourism industry being decimated.

“It is scandalous that we are sitting on our current deal with the EU that can make us more prosperous and deliver the global clout we crave as a country.

“Brexit puts Britain last. That can’t be allowed to happen. That’s why we need a people’s vote on the final Brexit deal – with the option to rethink and fight for our place in the EU.”
