Police in Llanelli are appealing for information following a series of thefts from vehicles in the Llanelli area.
Sometime on the evening of Tuesday 14th of August or early hours on Wednesday 15th of August, at least 12 insecure vehicles have been entered and various items stolen.
The crimes have taken place in the Bigyn Ward, which covers Penyfan and the Trostre area and also in the Walters Road & Marble Hall Road areas of Llanelli.
Sergeant Craig Wilkins said:
“All the vehicles targeted were left insecure. It is worth reminding motorists to ensure their vehicle is locked and secure when unattended. Thieves will be on the lookout for an easy target. Don’t make it easy for them.”
If you have any information on the crimes or have CCTV that may assist, or if you noticed any suspicious vehicles or persons in these areas, please contact Llanelli Police on 101. If you are a victim of crime yourself, again please report this to police by phoning 101.
