The Llanelli and District Twinning Association will be holding its celebration and Annual General Meeting on Friday the 21st of September starting at 6pm in Llanelli Public Library.
Llanelli has been twinned with Agen in the South West of France since July 1989 and will be celebrating the 30th Anniversary with a number of events and activities in 2019.
The Chair of the Twinning Association Paolo Piana told the West Wales Chronicle:
“As a community based association, we are very keen to build on the links that will build on the friendships and connections that have beenĀ built up over the years. There are lots of opportunities for local groups, organisations and individuals to get involved and we would love to hear from as many people as possible. The evening on the 21st will be an opportunity for us to show what has beenĀ achieved over the last year and look forward to 2019.
Everybody is very welcome and there will be refreshments.
