The family of Lewis Popp, the pedestrian who died following a collision on the A465 on Sunday (September 9), have paid tribute to him:

“Lewis Popp – the life and soul – he could light up a room as soon as he walked in! Lewis, the most caring, loving and all round passionate individual; passionate about life and passionate about overcoming obstacles. Lewis wrestled adversity for most of his life but he fought it with his extravagant larger-than-life personality! His heart and soul offered to everyone, he adored his family and adored his friends. Lewis will live forever in the hearts and thoughts of everybody who knew him.  His mother, he cherished more than anything in the world. And Lewis, his mum cherished him.”

Lewis’ family and friends request that their privacy be respected at this very difficult time.

The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.
