Chiropractor

For several years Dr Leigh Hurley has owned and run chiropractic clinics in both Cross Hands and Llandovery.

Dr Hurley said: “I treat elite athletes and sports teams, as well as gym members, farmers, construction and office staff, pregnant women (for whom chiropractic can help reduce back and pelvic strain), parents, children, young people and the retired.

“My current plan is to increase my business activity in Llandovery and create new jobs in the area. Barry Hale from Dewis Menter has helped me focus on and implement my business plans. His advice and access to funding will mean I can move forward with my business.”

Florist

A new designer floristry business has arrived amongst the bespoke businesses in Newcastle Emlyn’s Sycamore Street.

The Flower Rooms owner Sabrina brings with her a long history of experience in the floristry and gift business.

She said: “Our largest requests are flowers for weddings, funerals and that special gift that says ‘I love you’ without words.

“We offer a bespoke wrapping service, local and national delivery and after hours meetings for wedding parties and the bereaved are also available upon request.”

Sabrina would like to thank Dewis Menter for all their help while setting up The Flower Rooms and for their ongoing support. Also a big thank you goes out to the Carmarthenshire County Council and Carmarthenshire Lottery for the financial support that was given to set up the business.
