Wales Dragonhearts have been preparing well for this Saturday’s warm-up match against London and South East at New River Stadium, London (kick-off 4pm) before embarking on a two-test tour to Serbia.

There have been a number of changes to the Dragonhearts squad since it was first announced, due to injuries, births, work commitments and weddings, but Dragonhearts head coach Paul Chambers is grateful to have such a talented selection of players to choose from, following the successful North v South East v South West Origin series.

Chambers said: “Preparation for the three-game end of season series has been good. The two-day training camp in RAF ST Athans has helped to bond players who are more used to playing against each other. With excellent facilities and a warm welcome it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

“The boys are chomping at the bit to play London on Saturday before embarking on our first ever trip to Serbia for the Dragonhearts.

“All games will be a massive test of the boys endurance and talent over a seven day period but we have a really talented group of players here.”

Assistant coach Mark Robinson adds: “Being selected to tour with Wales Dragonhearts is a massive achievement for the lads involved and they all deserve to be on the plane to Serbia after a successful Origin Series. The camp went really well and the boys look really up for it.”
