NEWS UPDATE – Police confirm identity Of deceased man at Grove Caravan Park in Pendine

Dyfed-Powys Police is continuing to investigate the death of a man at Grove Caravan Park in Pendine.

Police were called to the location at around 10am on Friday, September 28, where a man was pronounced deceased. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

Police can confirm the deceased is 54-year-old Simon Paul Clark from Pendine.

An incident room has been set up in Carmarthen with a dedicated team of investigators working on the enquiry. House-to-house enquiries are being carried out to try and establish the circumstances of the death.

Officers are appealing for information from anyone staying at the caravan park, who might have seen or heard anything out of the ordinary between 5pm on Thursday, September 27 and 10am on Friday, September 28 to come forward.

Detective Chief Inspector Paul Jones said:

“Any piece of information, however small you think it might be, could be critical in piecing together the circumstances which led to this man’s death.

“Please call 101 if you think you can help.”

A 48-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder, and is currently being held in police custody.
