Rural Carmarthenshire businesses will be able to benefit from Energy Bills Drop in Clinics in the county in June.
RDP Sir Gâr’s Adfer, run by Menter Cwm Gwendraeth, will be hosting the free sessions to provide information on how local businesses can pay less for energy bills, protect against future energy price rises and reduce their environmental impact.
Adfer provides free guidance to help companies in Carmarthenshire to combat energy price rises and become more energy efficient. The project has received funding through the Rural Development Plan for Wales 2007-2013 which is funded by the Welsh Government and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
Resilience Officer, Neil Lewis, says: “The newly available technology allows significant savings with little or no financial outlay. There is a revolution in energy saving technology and we aim to ensure that Carmarthenshire’s Businesses remain competitive by keeping up with these changes. We want to make sure that rural businesses are aware of the options open to them, including ‘pay as you save’ and 0% finance schemes. Long term the savings are huge.”
Adfer will be at the following locations on these dates:
June 12th: Room 2, Carmarthen Library 9.30 – 12pm
June 13th Menter Bro Dinefwr, Municipal Building, Llandeilo 9.30-11.30am
