Aberglasney Gardens in Carmarthenshire will host one of Wales’ biggest festive events when the annual Winter Fair takes place from Friday the 30th of November to Sunday the 2nd of December.

From humble beginnings in Aberglasney’s Tearooms the annual event now sees the world renowned Gardens transformed into a Christmas shopper’s paradise. You’ll find over 100 handpicked exhibitors who are artists, makers, crafters and designers. Spend a day finding unique gifts, handmade decorations, art, beautiful homeware, and artisan food.

Aberglasney Gardens – a simply stunning Carmarthenshire location

For three full days the warming scent of mulled wine will welcome visitors to the Gardens. On Friday the 30th of December the fair will be open between 11.00am and 4.30pm, on Saturday the 1st and Sunday the 2nd of December come along from 10.00am to 4.30pm.

Aberglasney, named by the Royal Horticultural Society as one of the UK’s top 10 formal gardens, will also be filled with the sounds of Christmas. From traditional choirs to bands you’re guaranteed to get that festive feeling. Even Santa’s become a fan of the event! He’ll be featuring on Saturday and Sunday, you’ll need to wander through the sub-tropical indoor Garden to find him!

Meanwhile for gifts unlike anything you’ll find on the high street the Aberglasney Winter Fair is THE place to shop. A separate fine food marquee gives you the opportunity to stock up on all your festive treats with some of the region’s very best food artisans and farmers exhibiting again this year.
As well as a special menu at Aberglasney’s Tearooms, there’ll be as a range of outlets for ‘on the go’ eating and drinking.

Admission is £8.50 for adults, children up to 16 years old are FREE*

There’s a complimentary glass of mulled wine or spiced apple juice and a mince pie for all visitors. All proceeds raised will help with the continued restoration of the Mansion House and Gardens.
