There’s autumn walks and ghostly goings on galore as CETMA launches the 3Bs project in Parc Howard at the end of October.

The 3Bs stand for Bumps, Babies and Buggies and the project aims to increase walking in parents with babies/young children and pregnant mothers. It’s part of Waking Well Carmarthenshire and funded by Public Health Wales.

Jonathan Williams of CETMA said:

“We’ve got a full itinerary of activity to keep children entertained for a few hours, there’s autumn walks, ghostly book readings for children and creepy walks around the Parc.”

“There’ll be the chance to draw your own spooky version of Llanelli Pottery and organisations will be on hand to offer advice about health and wellbeing issues.”

Andy Kurzfeld from Walking Well Carmarthenshire added:

“We’re encouraging young parents with young children or babies or pregnant mothers stuck in the house to get in contact so that we can help you discover that walking can be fun.”

Also ‘aiming to set up’… around the county…walking.”

“The 3Bs project is aiming to set up walking groups around the county and will be perfect for mums, dads and even grandparents.”

“Walking has fantastic health benefits too!”

The Autumn in the Parc event takes place on Tuesday 30th October in Parc Howard and runs from 11 till 3.
