Can You Help the Police with this incident? Dog Attack in Llanelli

On 26/5/13 between about 15:45 and 16:00 a disabled woman, who relies on a mobility scooter to get around, was on her way to Llanelli town. She travelled along Bryntirion Terrace, and stopped to pat a Husky dog who was on a lead with a man.

The dog has then jumped onto the woman and has bitten her right ear, and she also sustained injuries to her face. The dog owner has then left the scene with the dog.

Two passing members of the public have gone to the assistance of the woman and escorted her home. She then attended hospital for medical treatment.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information is asked to contact Llanelli police on 101.

Police are also appealing for the two members of the public who assisted the woman to get in touch on the same number.
