POLICE STILL APPEAL FOR WITNESSES AFTER WOMAN PASSES AWAY FOLLOWING CHIP SHOP INCIDENT

NEWS UPDATE

Police are continuing to investigate after a 69-year-old woman sadly passed away at Morriston Hospital on Monday, October the 29th. She was taken to hospital following an incident at the Chipoteria chip shop in Hermon, Carmarthenshire, at around 1.30pm on Tuesday, October the 23rd.

A 70-year old man was arrested on suspicion of assault in connection with the incident. He has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

Anyone who visited the chip shop between 12pm and 3pm on Tuesday, October the 23rd, is asked to contact Dyfed-Powys Police.
