A drug dealer from Swansea who was selling drugs under the name of a fake party company has been sentenced to four years in prison.

Keiya Assadi from Clydach used the business name ‘Pablo’s Party Service’ to advertise and sell drugs online to student and drug communities in Swansea and Cardiff for over three years.

Last year, South Wales Police officers seized a mobile phone and found conversations with Assadi, who asked customers to save his name as Kaya, where he was sending a drugs ‘menu’ providing them with a breakdown of costs for drugs including cocaine, MDMA and ecstasy.

The 25-year-old believed that the encryption of WhatsApp would protect his messages from being found, with all contact with customers disclosing that he could only communicate via the app.

Assadi would deliver the drugs by post in envelopes that would disguise the smell of the drugs, and eBay stickers to further disguise the content.

In January 2018, South Wales Police officers executed a search warrant at Assadi’s family home in Swansea, where a large amount of drugs were recovered with a street value of over £25,000, with a further £50,000 in bank transactions over the past few years.

He pleaded guilty of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug, and was sentenced at Cardiff Crown Court on the 18th of October 2018.
