Taster day to offer preview of Pathways volunteering project

The Pathways volunteering project, which helps people aged 16 and above to improve their health and wellbeing as they gain new experiences and skills through practical activity outdoors, is holding a taster day to recruit more volunteers in North Pembrokeshire.

The special event on Monday 26 November will take place between 10am-3pm and will be hosted by the St Dogmaels People’s Orchard at their Coach House Café base.

The Pathways project is run by the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority and funded by the Welsh Government.

Pathways Co-ordinator, Tom Moses said:

“The taster day will include practical conservation tasks as well as other activities to help you discover more about nature and yourself. The event will also help you to meet new people, have some fun and do something positive.

“Booking is essential as free refreshments and lunch will be provided. Transport from Haverfordwest and North Pembrokeshire pickup points may also be available so please get in touch to discuss your requirements.”

More regular Pathways sessions will take place in North Pembrokeshire in the coming months.

For more information or to book your space please contact Tom Moses on 07773788205, or email tomm@pembrokeshirecoast.org.uk.
