LLANELLI FORUM FOOD BANK COLLECTION

Fforwm Llanelli Forum will be providing a drop-off point for donations to both Myrtle House and Antioch foodbanks ahead of the Christmas period.

We will be receiving items until Sunday 16 December 2018 so that those in real need of help are able to benefit from the generosity of our communities.

“It is very sad, not to say shameful, that so many people are being left by the wayside in the wake of high-power struggles they cannot comprehend or influence. As always, the weakest and most vulnerable are hit hardest, and far from seeing progress and improved conditions in our lifetimes, we are witnessing a shocking deterioration in the quality of life of many of those around us.”

A typical food parcel includes

• Tinned fruit

Urgently needed food items

• Tinned fruit (400gm)
• Tea bags (80s)
• Dried pasta (500gm)
• UHT milk (1 litre)
• Breakfast cereals

Antioch Foodbank Antioch Church has been running a Food and Clothes bank called Lifeshare for over 5 years. This is an independent food bank
