Mary Roll, organiser, said:
“It is very sad, not to say shameful, that so many people are being left by the wayside in the wake of high-power struggles they cannot comprehend or influence. As always, the weakest and most vulnerable are hit hardest, and far from seeing progress and improved conditions in our lifetimes, we are witnessing a shocking deterioration in the quality of life of many of those around us.”

Trussell Trust Foodbank We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK. “The foodbank was there when we really needed it, it was an absolute lifeline.”
Antioch Foodbank Antioch Church has been running a Food and Clothes bank called Lifeshare for over 5 years. This is an independent food bank
