MEMBERS of a computer class in Gorslas put on by Carmarthenshire County Council have raised £80 for Ty Hafan.

The members of the Gorslas Computer Course, which is organised by Carmarthenshire’s Community Education Department, raised the money through collecting tea and coffee donations during their sessions held at the Church Hall throughout the year.

The group also presented their tutor Mrs Ann Humphries with a beautiful bouquet of flowers.

Carmarthenshire County Council chair Cllr Terry Davies, who visited the class, said: “It’s great that the members of this class have raised so much for a good cause and that our Community Education Department is putting on such a useful course.”
