‘Go Orange and put on sunnies to raise some money’

Luke will be among schoolchildren, teachers, employers and employees ignoring the winter blues and wearing shades and garish bright orange clothes on Friday February 1^st 2019 in a bid to help beat muscle-wasting conditions.

Schools and businesses across the region have registered for the Go Orange for a Day campaign. They are joining thousands of people UK-wide raising money for Muscular Dystrophy UK’s national challenge, the feel-good fundraiser sees people dressing in orange and wearing shades for a £1 donation to Muscular Dystrophy UK. This year the charity is hoping for 50,000 participants and to raise over £50k.
