Llanelli and Mynydd Mawr Railway open days in 2019

EXTENDED NUMBER OF RUNNING DAYS IN 2019

Building on the success of its open days in 2018 the Llanelli & Mynydd Mawr Railway at Cynheidre are pleased to announce an extended number of running days in 2019.  The main season open days will include a short train ride hauled by one of our heritage diesel locomotives, an opportunity to visit the restoration shed and, weather permitting, a nature trail. On 7th and 8th December Santa will visit the line.

 

The full list of running days is as follows:

 

          Saturday 30th March

          Saturday 27th April                       Half term

          Saturday 25th May                       Half term

          Saturday 29th June

          Saturday 31st August

          Saturday 26th October                 Half term

          Weekend 7th / 8th December        Santa Specials

The Llanelli & Mynydd Mawr Railway look forward to welcoming you to Cynheidre when we open for the first of our regular running days through the Spring and summer seasons. Full details will be available soon on the following web link https://www.llanellirailway.co.uk The railway is hoping to grow into a major tourist attraction for the Llanelli district and in order to reach our goals we need more volunteer help in all departments including operational, maintenance and restoration, and administration.
