Glastonbury fans keep Sunday 6th October free, as Glastonbury Festival weekend tickets go on sale at 9am, for the 2014 festival which will takes place between the 25-29th of June.

Festival-goers will only have to pay a deposit of £50 next month rather than paying the full £210 for their 2014 tickets. They will have until April to pay the rest of their ticket fee.

Good news for people who want or require transport to the festival, as for the first time, coach packages will be available three days before the main ticket sale (Thursday 3rd October).

Currently no headliners have been announced but organiser Michael Eavis has said that they are in place already and that they probably won’t be a surprise to people. “There aren’t many left [to play here]. It’s the process of elimination isn’t it? I think we’ve got three or four really good ones lined up for next year and we’re sorting out 2015 as well.”

Before being able to buy their tickets, festival-goers will need to register on the Glastonbury website and will then be able to buy up to six tickets each.
