FIRST EVER GAMING CONVENTION SET TO HIT LLANELLI!
The Mayor of Llanelli is bringing a board games convention to the town.
The West Wales Gaming Convention (WWGC) is an ALL DAY EVENT set for Saturday the 13th of April. It’s to be held at Llanelli’s Selwyn Samuel Centre. The Mayor describes it as a ‘fun day out for all the family’.
Speaking of the event, the Mayor, Councillor David Darkin told The West Wales Chronicle:
“This is the first ever time that an event like this has been put on in Llanelli. There are going to be stalls selling games and merchandise. This is as well as demonstrations, tournaments and lots of open gaming. I’m rather excited.
“We’ve also got plans for a board game library with over 100 games for people to try.”
The event will open at 9am, tickets are at a cost of £10, with all proceeds going directly to the Mayor’s Charities. For more information, please visit: gamesconwales.co.uk
