“The Pontarddulais, Hendy and District Festival Committee are urgently seeking new members to participate in the organising of the Carnival and other events.
There will be a public open meeting on Wednesday 30th January at the Hendy Rugby Club 7pm to discuss the way forward.
The Carnival has been running for 50 years and it is getting increasingly more difficult each year particularly with funding, road closures and general help on the day to organise such an event.
We would like to discuss alternative means and new ideas from the public if you would like to be involved in the future of the Carnival and other events then please come forward and take part.
Following the Initial Meeting held last week at the Pontarddulais Rugby Club it was felt that a differend night and location may attract some more people.
