Members of the public are being asked for their views as the development of the new Local Development Plan for the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park enters its final phases.

The Focussed Changes stage outlines alterations that have been proposed following responses received during consultation at the previous Deposit Plan stage.

The National Park Authority has prepared a document that highlights these intended changes, along with guidance notes and a feedback form.

National Park Authority Head of Park Direction, Martina Dunne said: “Comments made at this stage can only address these proposed Focussed Changes, as the Inspector will not consider any other representations.

“The Authority will forward its response to any views raised directly to the Planning Inspectorate. They will be forwarded to the Inspector, who will take these representations into account as part of the Examination process, which is expected to take place in March 2019.”

Copies of the LDP documents are available for inspection free of charge on publicly accessible computers at:

  • Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority Headquarters, Llanion Park, Pembroke Dock, Pembrokeshire, SA72 6DY. Opening hours: Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm and Friday 9am to 4.30pm.
  • Oriel y Parc Gallery and Visitor Centre, St Davids, Pembrokeshire, SA62 6NW. Opening hours: every day 9.30am-4pm.
