From March, every day will be jam-packed with free events and shows hosted by Haven’s much-loved FunStars, Theatre Company and Seaside Squad – especially for those with little ones.
If you’re visiting Craig Tara, Devon Cliffs, Hafan y Môr, Primrose Valley, Rockley Park, or Thornwick Bay you’ll have the opportunity to see some great new shows from Haven’s Theatre Company.
One of their brand-new productions, Bat of out Bohemia, focuses on the story of British Rock sensation, Queen and is inspired by the musical, Bat out of Hell. Or perhaps you want to listen music by the King of Rock and Roll, the legendary Elvis Presley? If I can Dream is a new Elvis musical set in Memphis summer of 1957 about an outsider in high school and features beautifully arranged versions of Elvis’ greatest hits.
Haven’s FunStar shows are available at most of haven’s 36 coastal holiday parks, and their energetic FunStar Festival will celebrate some great live performances of popular pop, rock and R ‘n’ B stars, and features a reggae mash-up along with a Glastonbury medley. Also new for 2019 is Wonderstruck, a story set in a magical realm filled with strange creatures and a magical adventure!
Want to help save the sea creatures from the plastic monsters? Get stuck in with a new daytime family activity in Bradley’s Beach Rescue and help the lovable character clean up the local beach. Or if you’re feeling peckish, bring your favourite packed lunch and join the Seaside Squad Picnic, where you’ll get to spend the best part of the day with the gang. But be very careful, Greedy the Gorilla may try and take one of your sandwiches!
Tots can join in a Seaside Squad Singalong, where Rory the Tiger and friends teach you the words to their favourite nursery rhymes. Haven also encourages your tots to stretch and keep active, and so they’ve introduced Anxious’ Tot-sy Turvy for the little ones. The activity helps with development with stretches, dance, songs and exploring, and the best thing is they’ll have lots of fun doing it.
