Following my evening at the Llanelli Music Scene’s Band of the Month gig I headed down to the Kazbar where I had the pleasure of watching the mighty ‘Alien Stash Tin‘ playing their first Llanelli gig in over a year.
The band were suitably dressed for the Kazbar’s Halloween fancy dress party and I expected nothing less! You’ll know what I mean if you’ve seen them live before or if you’ve watched some of their online video footage.
During their set Alien Stash Tin were joined by vocalist Gareth Wooloff from Betty Swallaux who sung on Alien Stash Tin’s original tune America and then proposed to his partner on the stage during Alien Stash Tin’s set.
The atmosphere at the Kazbar was sizzling and the band put on an excellent up beat set and the ghosts and ghouls in the crowd were frantically dancing and jumping around. At one point during the set, singer and guitarist Jon Wisbey left the stage with the microphone still in his hand and he continued to sing whilst crossing the dance floor and going outside of the club, still singing, before then returning back inside to the stage to end the song.
Well played epic, atmospheric performance from Alien Stash Tin. Go see the band if you get the chance!
