Public invited to drop-in events in Amman and Gwendraeth Valleys / Gwahodd y cyhoedd i ddigwyddiadau galw-heibio yn Nyffryn Amman a Chwm Gwendraeth

Residents in the Amman and Gwendraeth Valleys are invited to take part in four public drop-in events to share their thoughts on local capital development projects and health and care provision.

As part of the health board’s commitment to continuous engagement with our local communitiesresidents will have the opportunity to come and speak to health officials on the following dates:

  • Cwmaman Community Centre / 3pm-6pm on Wednesday, 20 February 2019
  • Penygroes Gate and District Hall, Penygroes / 3pm-6pm on Tuesday, 5 March 2019
  • Cross Hands Working Mens’ Club / 3pm-6pm on Thursday, 7 March 2019
  • Black Mountain Centre, Brynaman / 3pm-6pm on Tuesday 12 March 2019

Rhian Dawson, Interim County Director and Commissioner for Carmarthenshire, said: “We’re pleased to invite local residents in the Amman and Gwendraeth Valleys to come and speak with us about the healthcare issues that matter the most to them, particularly in relation to taking forward future capital development projects such as the Cross Hands Integrated Primary and Community Care Centre and to discuss care provision at Amman Valley Hospital.  We will continue to reach out to people including our staff, patients, stakeholders, the organisations we work with and the wider population in line with our commitment to continuous engagement.”

Further events will be held across each of the health board’s three counties soon to continuously engage with our population.

Mae trigolion Dyffryn Amman a Chwm Gwendraeth yn cael eu gwahodd i gymryd rhan mewn pedwar digwyddiad galw-heibio cyhoeddus i rannu eu barn ar brosiectau datblygiadau cyfalaf yn lleol a darpariaeth gwasanaethau iechyd a gofal.

Fel rhan o ymrwymiad y bwrdd iechyd i ymgysylltu’n barhaus â’n cymunedau lleol, bydd cyfle i drigolion ddod i siarad â swyddogion iechyd ar y dyddiadau canlynol:

  • Neuadd Y Gât, Penygroes / 3pm-6pm Dydd Mawrth, 5 Mawrth 2019
  • Clwb Y Gweithwyr, Cross Hands / 3pm-6pm Dydd Iau, 7 Mawrth 2019
  • Canolfan Y Mynydd Du, Brynamman / 3pm-6pm Dydd Mawrth 12 Mawrth 2019

Meddai Rhian Dawson, Cyfarwyddwr Sirol Dros Dro a Chomisiynydd Sir Gaerfyrddin: “Rydym yn falch o wahodd trigolion lleol Dyffryn Amman a Chwm Gwendraeth i dod i siarad â ni am y materion gofal iechyd sy’n meddwl llawer iddynt, yn enwedig mewn perthynas â symud ymlaen â prosiectau datblygiadau cyfalaf megis Canolfan Gofal Integredig Cross Hands a darpariaeth gofal yn Ysbyty Dyffryn Amman. Byddwn yn parhau i estyn allan at bobl yn cynnwys ein staff, cleifion, rhanddeiliaid, y sefydliadau rydym yn gweithio â nhw a’r boblogaeth ehangach, a hynny yn unol â’n hymrwymiad i ymgysylltu’n barhaus.”

Bydd digwyddiadau pellach yn cael eu cynnal ar draws tair sir y bwrdd iechyd cyn hir er mwyn ymgysylltu’n barhaus â’n poblogaeth.
