Synod Inn Update: Second Man Charged
Darryl Mathew Dempsey, aged 24, from the Eastbourne area, has been charged with numerous offences following his arrest on suspicion of assaulting a police officer.
On February the 9th a police officer stopped a vehicle in the Synod Inn area. The officer was assaulted and the two men made off from the scene.
Dempsey was arrested in Essex on February the 15th and conveyed to Ammanford custody unit.
He has been charged with: possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence; assault causing actual bodily harm; aggravated vehicle taking; two counts of taking a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent and criminal damage.
He has been conveyed to Llanelli Magistrates’ Courts this morning (Monday, February the 18th).
The second man, Wayne Dobson, aged 29, was charged on February the 12th and has been remanded until his next hearing.
