A Llanelli woman has spent the night sleeping rough to help the area’s homeless.

Claire Yeo, a mother of 3 from Swiss Valley took part in The Wave’s and The Cold Truth’s Sleepout in the Liberty Stadium car park last night (Wednesday 20th February 2019).

Claire said:

“It was an amazing but humbling experience, I’m completely soaked through from the waste up and my big warm jacket is actually dripping from being over my head!”

“I also had a big bag that someone was kind enough to give me to put over my sleeping bag but I was still soaked.”

“I am however, really lucky enough to be going home for a hot shower and somewhere to dry my clothes.

“I would like to thank everyone for supporting me and a massive thank you to everyone that donated, the current total is £300 in just one week!
