3rd Cardigan Sea Scout Group has had a busy term across the sections including organising and participating in hikes, camps, backwoods cooking, indoor craft activities, first aid, swimming and game playing. Practical activities have included slacklining, pioneering & circus skills. The Scouts and Explorer Scouts have enjoyed a number of camps and all sections have participated in fun and action packed weekends away youth hostelling with other Scout Groups from across the county.
All sections participated in Cardigan lantern parade with other youth groups and organisations and have been doing their part for the community including participating in Cardigans Remembrance Day parade, running a Christmas craft stall at Cardigan Fair, running a public fireworks display, bag packing and fundraising at local supermarkets and Christmas carol singing.
Across all sections, the young people have completed a number of activity and challenge badges and awards including astronomy, camping skills and communication.
