The Combined Forces @ Links will be holding their Annual Veterans Awareness Day on March 7th 2019, starting @10.30am and will be held at the Veterans Lounge Llanelli within The Conservative Club Llanelli.
The Aim of the day will be to raise awareness for support available for veterans and veteran family members of all ages and backgrounds. We will have a number of presentations during the day covering support topics such as veteran’s homelessness, veterans covenant, JCP support, veteran’s priority treatment, together for mental health and BLESMA.
We will also be showing two historical films during lunchtime, one of a WW1 soldier and one of a Yorkshire Nurse who both lost their lives in the battle of Passchendeale.
We will also have 23 information stands, including blind veterans UK, veterans club Swansea, Llanelli veterans association, wales homes for veterans, The Royal British Legion to name a few.
