WINTER walking is good for you especially where there is a bowl of soup on offer to fuel the activity.
In their big to get more Carmarthenshire people more active more often rangers at Llyn Llech Owain are inviting people to join them on a moderate four-hour walk on Tuesday November 12.
They will be using footpaths outside the country park en route to the colourful Carmel Woods National Nature Reserve.
Warming hot soup, cheese and roll with tea or coffee will be available for walkers at the halfway point for those who have booked to join the walk by November 12.
Walkers are advised to phone for details of start times etc on 01269- 832229 of start times.
Intrepid rangers will set off on the walk whatever the weather and advise those joining them to be suitable clothed and booted for the prevailing conditions.
The starting point will be Llyn Llech Owain pay and display car park and drivers are asked to bring the right change for the machines.
