An investigation is underway after historic artefacts donated to Llanelly House were stolen some time between 30th October and 15th November.

The items had been donated to the charity by the Margrave Family and are unique and easily identifiable.

They include a silver matchbox, silver ashtray, silver pencil and various silver ornaments.

“These items are not worth a great deal in monetary terms, but historically are very valuable particularly because of their association with Llanelly House,” said Detective Inspector Richard Hopkin. “I would appeal for anyone with information on these stolen items to please get in touch.”

Officers can be contacted on 101 at Llanelli Police Station.
