Dyfed Powys Police in partnership with Carmarthenshire County Council have secured criminal anti-social behaviour order against a 54 year old Llanelli woman.
Kim Allison from Heol Dinbych, Llanelli appeared before Llanelli Magistrates Court on Thursday 14th November.
She was issued with a Crasbo with the following conditions – not to misuse the emergency 999 or 101 systems unless in circumstances where personal safety is at risk or save when in genuine need of emergency services.
“Anyone suffering anti-social behaviour should not suffer in silence and I would urge anyone to report such behaviour to the police,” said communities and partnership Inspector Alun Samuel. “This Crasbo was the result of repeat phone calls being made by the individual to the emergency services, with more than 70 calls being made between January 2013 and September 2013.
“Both ourselves and the council’s anti social behaviour co-ordinator have worked together to prepare the application and we are pleased that this was successful in court.
“The Crasbo will stand for a period of five years with a power of arrest if it is breached. This demonstrates good partnership working within the two organisations. We are now hopeful that this will address the person’s behaviour, and improve the quality of life to neighbours and the surrounding area.”
