South Wales Police is currently the scene of an incident on Carlton Terrace, Swansea.
Officers were called at approximately 3.10am today (Tuesday, April 23), following reports of a serious assault in which a 22-year-old woman died.
Armed officers have been deployed alongside divisional units and the police helicopter, and a number of cordons are in place in the area while investigations continue.
Anyone with information about the incident, who has not yet spoken to police, is asked to contact 101, quoting occurrence 1900144514.
