Scarlets take on Ulster in the RaboDirect PRO12 at Ravenhill on Friday evening as the West Wales region looks for another good performance and result to keep climbing the league table.
Following on from a six try bonus point victory over Benetton Treviso last weekend Scarlets centre Gareth Maule says that the squad are confident going into the challenge against Irish province Ulster.
Maule said: “We’re feeling confident. We’ve trained in bad conditions today (Wednesday) which will prepare us well for Ravenhill as that place can throw extremes at you! There’s a good mood amongst the squad going into the game.
“Ulster are a very good side and will undoubtedly have a number of their internationals back this weekend. The result will be down to how well we execute our game plan – that’ll be the difference between winning and losing.
“If we allow their key decision makers to get into their full flow we’ll be in for a long afternoon. They are very good at what they do but it’ll up to us to counter that and stop it.”
Scarlets take on Ulster on Friday 14th February, kick-off 7.05pm, at Ravenhill before heading back to Parc y Scarlets for back-to-back encounters against Edinburgh (Saturday 22nd February KO 2.30pm) and Munster (Saturday 1st March KO 6.30pm).
