Race for Life Volunteer

Race for Life is the UK’s largest women-only fundraising event series where all the money raised goes to fund Cancer Research UK’s life-saving work. This year’s events will be full of amazing moments for everyone as women of all ages and fitness abilities join together to walk, jog or run 5k to help beat cancer. www.raceforlife.org. Volunteer team are the reason that our events are so successful, last year South Wales raised £1.3 million, with your help we hope to raise over 1.5 million this year, every penny of which will help save lives.

The event I need help at are:
– Llanelli – 13th June – arrival time 0830 am – or from 0600 am if possible to set up – finish approx 2pm
– Swansea – 25th July – arrival time 0830 am – or from 0600 am if possible to set up – finish approx 2pm
It would be great if you could do both, but any help is truly valued.

meet and greet volunteer profile

Liason Officer Postion

Are you 18— 24 years and been unemployed for more than 6 months?

 

We have an immediate vacancy for an Assistant Liason Officer at our new Lighthouse Project in Llanelli.

applicants must have:

Good administration and IT skills.

Able to maintain a reception area, personal callers and Telephone switchboard.

Keep log and diaries with regard to people making enquiries and booking resources.

 

The “Lighthouse” is a new ‘One stop shop’  support centre for unemployed people 16 – 65

 

Full time 40 hours a week

Salary £13,382 p.a
