FAMILY NEWS

Cheryl Pike and Joan Jarvis continue to be at Glangwili Hospital Carmarthen. Tom Jones is now resident at Llys Y Coed, New Road.

Peter and Ann Lloyd celebrate their Golden wedding anniversary this week. Steve and Antonia Lawrence brought their baby daughter Sophie Louise and son Kyle to a service of dedication and thanksgiving last Sunday.

BIBLE STUDIES

The present series on Galatians led by our Minister concludes this week and Dr. Doreen Hartland will begin a new series of studies on Tuesday 4th March at 7.30pm and Wednesday lunch time at 1.10pm.

The next Welsh learner’s Bible study will be held on Wednesday 5th March at 12 noon.

CHURCH CHOIR

The church choir are rehearsing a Gospel Musical ‘Redeeming love’ for Palm Sunday evening. and sang at the Llanelli Torch Fellowship at Emmanuel last Saturday afternoon. The choir meets every Thursday for rehearsal and fellowship. It would be good to welcome new members for all parts. Please speak with David or any choir members.

SCHOOROOM

At last the renovation of the schoolroom is nearing completion. There has been much upheaval over the last two month but it has been well worth it to see the schoolroom completely modernised. Following the repainting, the new floor, partitioning and blinds were fitted last week. New projection equipment for both the chapel and the schoolroom has arrived and will be installed this week. Our next project is new seating and we hope to proceed with that shortly.

CELEBRATION BROADCAST.

BBC Wales will record two Celebration Services on Thursday 13th March at 6.30pm. A rehearsal for the singing will be held in the chapel on Monday 10th March at 7pm. Let’s ensure we are here on both occasions. Thanks

WOMEN’S WORD DAY OF PRAYER

This special; day of prayer is held every years on the first Friday of March. The theme this year is ‘A Way in the Desert’ prepared by the women of Egypt. This year’s service will be held at the Llanelli Presbyterian Church on Friday 7th March at 2pm.

SWANSEA MALE GOSPEL CHOIR

Are holding an ‘Evening of Praise’ at Ebenezer Baptist Church Swansea on Saturday 1st March at 6.30pm.

Guest soloist ‘Nia’ Guest Harpist Bethan Semmers and the speaker will be Warren Jones. Admission is free – there will be an offering.
