Refuse Permission to Fracking Companies to Drill Under Your Home

Every day I see fracking companies ramping up their efforts to drill; sometimes by some pretty dodgy methods. I admit I’m getting a bit worried. But I’m far from giving up, because there’s a joker card still to play. And I think you’ll like this one, a lot.

In order to frack, the energy companies need to drill down and then horizontally, even if that means under your home. But it’s your home, and you have the legal right to refuse them permission.

Drilling without your permission would be trespass and breaking the law.

In less than two minutes you can join nearly 30,000 others who’ve already said no to drilling under their homes. Anyone can join the fracking block: you don’t need to be a home owner. All you need to do is click this link: https://secure.greenpeace.org.uk/wrongmove

People in Sussex have already shown how it can be done. Homeowners and landowners around one of the planned drilling sites have all refused permission. The frackers are boxed in and it’s going to be almost impossible for them to drill. Just look at the map below – it’s checkmate!

It’s working in Sussex, and it can work elsewhere too. However we need to move quickly. In the next few months it’s expected that many more fracking sites will be announced. With two-thirds of the country earmarked, it’s no exaggeration to say your home could be next.

Stop the frackers in their tracks by clicking this link: https://secure.greenpeace.org.uk/wrongmove

Once you’ve joined please share, share and share again. We need all your friends and neighbours to stand together: to box in the drillers and keep the UK frack-free.

You may have heard the government is looking to change the law to revoke this trespass law, which shows how scared we’ve got them. This is all the more reason for us to sign up as many as possible, and quickly. The more who’ve joined, the harder it will be to justify a change in our legal rights. Once you’ve signed up, please share with as many as you can.
