Shimmer Sounds returns to Tramshed, Cardiff on November 16th with an additional date at The Mill, Birmingham on November 17th

After the success of its debut, the festival-esque day event Shimmer Sounds will be returning in 2019 to Tramshed, Cardiff with an additional date at The Mill, Birmingham this November! Set across two stages and catered for the indie-pop enthusiast, the lineup boasts headliners Temples along with The Blinders and Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard, all of which are big names in the indie music scene.

Renowned for their mesmerizing live performances, Temples will be headlining both the Cardiff and Birmingham date. Having just announced the release of their third album ‘Hot Motion’ on Friday September 2019, this will be an opportunity to hear their brand new material live!

Also gracing the stage will be three piece alternative group The Blinders. Smelting loud and visceral political punk rock with enigmatic, psychedelic poetry and tones, their frenzied performances are certainly not for the faint-hearted. Joining them will be 4-piece rock band Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard, notorious for delivering boisterous and theatrical live shows steeped in their rich melodies and brazen flamboyance. With more acts to be announced, this is a monstrous lineup in the making.

One of the event organisers, Joff Hall of The MJR Group, said: “We were thrilled with the reaction to Shimmer Sounds’ debut at Tramshed last year. So much so, we’ve decided to branch out to Birmingham in 2019. We hope to bring back the all-day music event, showcasing the very best indie music talent, even bigger and better this time round.”
