Dyfed Powys Police has issued a statement of appeal following the death of a 47-year-old man at Coleshill Terrace, Llanelli during the early hours of the morning.
The man was found injured in the street and was taken to the nearby hospital where he unfortunately passed away shortly after. The road has since been cordoned off while the police survey the area for more clues and eyewitness accounts. Another man has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter, and currently remains in police custody.

DCI Anthony Evans, who is leading the investigation, said:
“I need to speak to anyone who saw or heard anything along Coleshill Terrace this morning (29 June), between the hours of approximately 1am and 4am. I’d also like to hear from anyone in the street who has private CCTV attached to their property.”
“A man was found injured in the street and was conveyed to hospital, where he died shortly after. If you have any information, please contact my team via 101, quoting reference number DP-20190629-072.
“Residents will notice a large police presence in the street – they are all there as part of the ongoing investigation, but I’d like to reassure anyone who is concerned, we are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident at this time.”

The family of the deceased has been informed and is being supported by officers.
