I am writing on behalf of Brunos Animal Haven, a small registered charity who are struggling financially to keep rescuing animals. The founder lives in Llanelli and will soon be homeless due to the Landlord wanting the property back.
Kim has a number of “lifers” who cannot be rehomed and due to financial issues she is not taking on any new rescues.
We are helping her raise funds so the Charity can purchase some land, at this point Kim wants it to be all about animals and hasn’t even got her own roof sorted out. We have about £2k in donations and £10k loaned to pay back, so a long way off the £40k she needs. I was wondering whether you could run a human interest story or help suggest ways we can to do much needed PR with this.
She has recently rescued a bonded pair of dogs whose young owner was tragically killed, so there are all different types of dogs wanting fostering or adopting, but also funds are key here.
