Wrexham schools Rhosymedre Community Primary and Ysgol Min y Ddol deliver poignant Peace Message at Children’s Day.

Rhosymedre Community Primary School and Ysgol Min y Ddol

On Tuesday 2nd July Llangollen Eisteddfod hosted the annual Children’s Day. The theme to this year’s event is ‘Earth’s Little Heroes’ in celebration of the festival’s continued efforts to reduce plastic waste. Performances on the day included local schools from Denbighshire – Ysgol y Gwernant, Ysgol Bryn Collen, Ysgol Bro Dyfrdwy, Caer Drewyn and Ysgol Carrog – exploring the ‘World Warriors’ theme together with  Kakatsitsi, Master Drummers from Ghana. Rhosynedre Comm primary school and Ysgol Min Y Ddol also led a Peace Message. Children took to the stage in the Pavilion for a day full of fun activities and educational workshops. Special guests also included the Holloway Children’s Choir visiting from China.
