Llanelli Town and it's projects are being imitated

It has come to our attention that there are various websites and facebook pages that are imitating Llanelli Town & its projects causing a great deal of confusion.

Llanellitown.com is a volunteer run social enterprise and has nothing to do with the council. It manages various projects:

  • Your Llanelli Website
  • Llanelli Music Scene
  • Carmarthenshire Wildlife Watch / Wales Wildlife Watch
  • Llanelli Town TV

A website and Facebook page has been set up as Llanellitown.co.uk and The Llanelli Town (Facebook).

Please be advised that this is NOT us. The real Llanelli Town only posts articles from our own website (Your Llanelli) along with any sponsors messages.

Llanellitown.co.uk has also had Llanelli Music Scene (Llanelli Music) set up since last year and this has been causing quite a bit of confusion. Please note that Our Music Scene page is part of Your Llanelli and the active facebook page has the LlanelliTown.com logo on it and also has a link to the Your Llanelli page in the description. Volunteers on the Llanelli Music Scene project are Trudi Goldsmith, Barry Bungalow, Keith Evans & Jonathan Williams

Carmarthenshire Wildlife Watch was set up last year and is a registered project with Environmental Wales. Project No: R899. Carmarthenshire Wildlife Watch is funded by Environment Wales and Carmarthenshire Environment Partnership.

The Facebook page was changed from facebook.com/CarmarthenshireWildlifeWatch to facebook.com/CarmsWildlifeWatch this January. This came after one of our volunteers left the company and the project.

The old page name is being used by an individual that is also calling themselves Carmarthenshire Wildlife Watch. Please be advised of the correct page, and if in doubt look for the Environmental Wales registration number in the description.

Volunteers on the Carmarthenshire Wildlife Watch project are Jo Tattersall, Trixie Evans, Gareth Cornfield, Keith Evans, & Jonathan Williams

We hope that this clears up all confusion lately regarding our pages and websites
