SPLISH-SPLOSH ‘SpinFizz’ water zorbing is coming to Pembrey Country Park this summer.

It‘s a chance to experience a ride in a giant transparent washing machine that last year was the biggest attraction on Brighton pier.

It has been described as the human cocktail maker with all ages from five upwards getting sploshed about in a speed controlled drum.

The ride, opening in time for the summer holidays at the Beach huts entrance to the Blue Flag Cefn Sidan Beach, will be a massive summer attraction as it is only the second such ride in the country.

The site has been prepared for SpinFizz which is currently being fitted with wheels so it can be wheeled away and garaged overnight for security.

Described as the “infinite water slide” the giant 12ft diameter soft plastic ball can take two riders along with a couple of buckets of water which means it doesn’t matter what the weather is like, riders will get drenched.

You can cool off in hot weather and build up a lather in cold.

Stephanie and Richard Thomas who manage Sidan Cafe and the Beach Huts within the park have already introduced a play area, giant deck chairs and SegWay balance biking to the park.

Stephanie said: “We are really excited about this latest attraction. It has been massive in Brighton. Picture opportunities make it a big hit on social media and U-tube because while you bet sploshed riding others can watch you being tumbled about through the transparent drum.”

Carmarthenshire Council executive board member for leisure services Cllr Meryl Gravell praised the Thomas’s for their innovative ideas adding: “I am sure the fizzy-dizzy attraction will be a huge hit this summer.”
