Carmarthenshire Community Safety Partnership partners have continued to work together and with licensed premises to tackle problems in town centres at night relating to alcohol and drug related crime and anti-social behaviour.
The night-time economy is well policed with officers linking in well with licensed premises and all partners to reduce anti-social behaviour and tackle substance misuse. Police officers use Section 27 notices to direct persons to leave the town centre if they consider their presence is likely to contribute to alcohol-related crime or disorder.
Since April 2013, 616 of these notices have been issued across the county.
