Eco friendly projects are being given a helping hand thanks to Carmarthenshire Environment Partnership.
Applications are now being taken for grants up to £3,100 for community projects that address issues such as carbon reduction, biodiversity, waste reduction and sustainable transport.
Car sharing and cycling schemes, energy and garden projects, food waste reduction, and carbon reducing initiatives will be considered.
The grants range from £500 and can also be used as part of match funding.
The CEPs development officer, Anna Patterson said: “This is a great opportunity to provide communities a helping hand to start or develop projects that work towards environmental sustainability.
“Already there is a lot of good work going on in our county and we’re grateful for the partnership working that enables this to happen.”
Closing date for applications is July 4 and can these can be obtained by emailing AMPatterson@carmarthenshire.gov.uk
