Carmarthenshire Libraries give families the perfect opportunity to switch of from technology and enjoy their favourite hero stories.
Last week the Carmarthenshire Libraries team held free events throughout the county for babies, toddlers, pre-schoolers and their families in celebration of National Bookstart Week 2014.
The theme for this year was ‘My Hero’ and children came in fancy dress from superheroes and story characters, doctors, firefighters and more.
Children’s librarian, Lesley Cresswell, said:”The children fully embraced the ‘My Hero’ theme and we hope that this will be the beginning of a lifelong love of reading.”
Carmarthenshire Libraries host many events throughout the year – make sure you don’t miss out by following them on Facebook or Twitter alternatively call 01267 224824 or email library@carmarthenshire.gov.uk
