Appeal to trace missing person Jordan Moray

South Wales Police is continuing to investigate the disappearance of 32-year-old Jordan Moray from the Aberdare area.

Jordan, who lives in Cwmbach, was reported missing on 2nd August 2019 by his family who are extremely concerned for his welfare.

He was last seen by his family on 24th July and there was a reported sighting of him by a friend on 29th July in Bro Deg, Cwmbach.

The alarm was raised by concerned relatives who visited his flat which was left unsecure – a gaming machine was left on and his phone was left at the address, which they say is out of character.

Police have carried out numerous enquiries in order to trace Jordan. Specialist searches are being conducted around his home address, as well as in the area where he was last seen.

Detective Inspector David Cole said: “We are really concerned for Jordan – his disappearance is out of character. Our enquiries to trace him are continuing, including CCTV, speaking with witnesses and searches of Jordan’s flat and the surrounding area and the area around the reported sighting of Jordan on 29th July.

“Jordan is an outdoor enthusiast who has extensive knowledge of the local area. I would urge anybody who has seen or heard from him or who has information about where he may be should contact us immediately.

“I am very grateful for the information we have received from members of the public so far and we are continuing to follow up all reported sightings of Jordan.”
