Jeremy Lawlor

Glamorgan Cricket can today announce that Jeremy Lawlor and Kazi Szymanski’s contracts have not been renewed by the club and the pair will leave Glamorgan at the end of the season.

All-rounder Lawlor, 23, is a product of the Glamorgan Academy and made his First-Class debut for Cardiff MCCU against Glamorgan in 2015.

He made six First-Class, five List A and six T20 appearances for the Welsh county.

Devon-born Kazi Szymanski (20) signed a summer contract at the beginning of the year but failed to make an appearance for the First XI. He was part of the 2nd XI team which won the 2nd XI T20 competition earlier this year.

Speaking of their departure from the club, director of cricket, Mark Wallace, said: “It’s always sad when we have to let players go at the end of the season.

“I would like to thank Kazi and Jeremy for their hard work over the course of their careers so far and we wish them all the best for the future.”
