The Royal British Legion Club presents on Saturday 10 July the sounds of Peter Jones vocal ntertainer.Entrance for members and guests £3. Doors open 7pm. Bingo last books 7.50pm.

Epilepsy Meeting

On Wednesday 7 July the Pembrey and BurryPort branch of Epilepsy Action are meeting from 5-6.30pm in the Leslie Griffiths Centre behind the Congregational church in Glanmor terrace, Burry Port. These meetings for families and young people are held on the first Wednesday of the month.

Energy Monitor Loan

Residents can now borrow an electricity monitor free of charge from Burry Port Library. They come with an instruction booklet and are easy to install. They will help householders to reduce their electricity bills by showing them instantaneously how much electricity they are using and what it is costing them.The units can be borrowed for up to two weeks.

First Responder Scheme

BurryPort Community First Responder scheme is currently looking for new volunteers. Individuals will be required to reside within the Burry Port/Pembrey catchment area, complete an application,CRB and medical questionare form.
