Feedback From the Night

Compiled by Trudi Goldsmith

A Llanelli Music Scene Night took place at The Masons Arms on 1st August 2014.  Music Scene were proud to introduce two new bands to the venue, the female fronted pop punk ‘Failed Invasion’ and  the psychedelic rock/ metal three piece band  ‘Attercopus‘.

Here’s what some of the people at the venue thought of the bands on the night……..

Failed Invasion

I enjoyed them, they sounded great and they got people into the Masons.- Danger ( Dan. Y)

‘They were not my cup of tea but they were nice and tight and a good band!’ – Liam Bunyan

‘Failed Invasions’ early 2000 pop-punk influences are obvious. Their catchy melodies and funky breakdowns would sound perfectly at home on any “American Pie” sound track. Their set was vibrant and exciting and the female vocal line was a welcome refreshment from what was a previously over-crowded genre. Highly recommended.’ – Ben Leonard Rice

Attercopus

‘Very good and I like the way they integrated the flute into their set’- Keith Ryan

They sound like a cross between Hawkwind and something else.’- Simon Donaldson

‘I loved them. They are a blend of all my favourite music.’ –Chris Davies

‘I  loved the set. If you’re in a band or if you’re not in a band go and see this band because you will have an eye opener. Nothing but awesomeness !!! ‘- Kristen Smith Landlord of the Masons Arms
